ASPCA
As the first humane
organization to be granted legal authority to investigate and
make arrests for crimes against animals, we are wholly dedicated
to fulfilling the ASPCA mission through nonviolent approaches.
Their organization provides local and national leadership in
three key areas: caring for pet parents and pets, providing
positive outcomes for at-risk animals and serving victims of
animal cruelty.
Humane Society
of the U.S.
The Humane Society
of the United States is the nation's largest and most effective
animal protection organization—backed by 11 million Americans,
or one in every 28. Established in 1954, The HSUS seeks a humane
and sustainable world for all animals—a world that will also
benefit people.
Pet Finder
Petfinder is an
on-line, searchable database of animals that need homes. It is
also a directory of over 12,500 animal shelters and adoption
organizations across the USA, Canada and Mexico. Organizations
maintain their own home pages and available pet database.
